Why You Won't Eat the Same Meal Twice (Inside Our 6-Week Rotation)

Admin TT

Ask anyone who has tried meal prepping at home why they quit, and you'll hear the same answer: I got sick of it.

Chicken and rice on Sunday sounds great. By Thursday it's a chore. By week three you're ordering takeout and the container of leftovers is quietly growing a science project in the back of the fridge.

We built Maple Meal Prep to avoid that. Our answer is a 6-week rotation.

How It Works

Instead of a fixed menu that repeats every week, our menu runs on a six-week cycle. Each week has its own lineup of meals, and when the six weeks are up, the cycle starts over.

That means:

  • You get real variety. Order every week and you'll go a full six weeks before you see the same lineup again.
  • Your favorites come back. Found a meal you love? It returns on schedule, so you can plan around it.
  • We get to cook better. A rotation lets us build each week's menu thoughtfully, rather than recycling the same few dishes.

Why Six Weeks?

It's long enough that you won't feel like you're eating the same thing on repeat, and short enough that a meal you loved doesn't disappear for months. It's the sweet spot between "always something new" and "I know when my favorite is coming back."

Everything Is Still Made From Scratch

A rotating menu doesn't mean cutting corners. Every week, the same standards apply: we make our own mayo and sauces, we fry our own food, and we cook with olive oil, avocado oil, and grass-fed butter or ghee. No seed oils, no pre-made shortcuts. (If you missed those posts, they explain why we're so particular about it.)

Variety is easy when you're willing to cut corners. We'd rather do it the harder way and keep the quality where we want it.

Your Macros Are Always Available

Every meal in the rotation has its own nutrition and heating information, so you never have to guess what you're eating or how to reheat it. Scan the QR code on your container and it'll take you straight to that meal's page.

How to Get the Most Out of the Rotation

  1. Check the week's lineup before you order. Knowing what's coming makes it easy to plan your week.
  2. Try something outside your usual. The rotation is a low-risk way to find a new favorite.
  3. Order for your household size. Our Regular, Large, Couples, and Family sizes mean the same meal works whether you're feeding one or four.
  4. Keep an eye out for returning favorites. When a meal you loved comes back around, order it again.

The Bottom Line

Meal prep shouldn't feel like a punishment. A rotating menu keeps it interesting, and doing everything from scratch keeps it honest.
